For over 25 years, Sierra Emergency Medical Group has been partnered with Adventist Health - Sonora staffing the Emergency Department and two Prompt Care locations.  We are an independent, democratic group of Providers who like to work where we play!  Adventist Health - Sonora is the only hospital in the county. We provide care to a population of 55,000 residents with a catchment area of roughly 100,000 people.  The Emergency Department has 15 beds and cares for over 36,000 patients per year.  We are located about 2.5 hours from Sacramento, San Jose, San Francisco, south of Lake Tahoe and north of Yosemite.

Tuolumne County is rich in activities for the whole family.  Located minutes from camping, hiking, biking, snow skiing, water skiing, backpacking, climbing, fishing, rafting...we have it all!  We also have great farmers markets, music in the park, concerts at local vineyards, music at local cafes, wine tasting, historical annual events showcasing the history of the town, parades, art classes, fitness classes, and so much more!  We have wonderful schools including public elementary schools, high schools, private and charter schools and a Community College.  All of this at the doorstep of Yosemite National Park!
